These anti-glare filters are custom designed and engineered specifically for the air traffic control radar monitors throughout Canada. Unlike the Poli-Cristal™ filters, these are made from conductive high-grade carbon mesh fibers, stretched over specially designed frames to suit 23.5" by 24.5" monitor faces. Prices are based on availability, specific frame dimensions, production lead times, quantities and other such considerations. |

The mesh is positioned in the custom-sized frame at 45° in order to reduce the effects of moire. After all, the operators are trying to keep aircraft from getting in each other's way, so the distortion has to be absolutely minimal. The micro fibre mesh is the best way to entirely eliminate reflection. The filters have been in use since 1996 and are in operation at the Vancouver, Montreal and Gander International Airports.
